This is the
second floor of an Irish pub restaurant in Farmington, Michigan.
The designs were engraved into the new
concrete floor using the
Engrave-A-Crete tools, then acid-stained with
Scofield Lithochrome Chemstain copper patina
and dark walnut, and finally coated with a water-based epoxy clear sealer.
This project won Honorable
Mention in a
contest sponsored by Concrete Decor Magazine in 2003. You can read that

and the owner surveying the design layout.
