This is a Celtic cross design that a Christian customer of ours ran across (left) and wanted reproduced on her basement floor.
We engraved it into a 3/8" self-leveling Ardex SDT cement overlay using the Engrave-A-Crete concrete engraving tools. The
wood grain and color of the cross were achieved with Kodiak Brown acid stain from QC Construction Products. The design
on the cross, and the 'sun' in the background were colored with yellow 100% solids epoxy. The outline was filled with black
tile grout. The surrounding cement overlay was then acid stained, and the floor was sealed with a water-based urethane sealer.
