
This is an acid-stained
basement floor cut into 3.5 foot square tiles. The color is Scofield's dark walnut
Chemstain.
The
first
photo above is the floor as it appeared the day after staining the concrete. The next
photo shows the actual coloring after the
acid stain
residue was rinsed. Following that (lower left), a water-based acrylic
concrete sealer was used as a primer to "lock
in" a degree of color enhancement. A water-based epoxy concrete sealer
was used as a finish coat was
used for added gloss.
