This is an English Red acid-stained cement overlay of a basement concrete floor.  Cement overlays provide a clean canvas for
old concrete that optimizes the 'antiqued' look of acid stain.  The first photo shows the floor after removing black cutback tile
adhesive by concrete grinding.  The second photo shows the concrete overlay immediately after applying acid stain.  The last
photos show the floor color after the reaction was complete and the overlay was sealed with a solvent acrylic concrete sealer.
