This is the main room of a 2,300 sq. ft. residential finished basement.  The concrete floor was acid-stained after scoring
a 28" interior wall border around the perimeter of the room and 4.5' diagonal tiles on the interior.  Artcrete's "Onyx" acid
stain was used to create a black border, and then Artcrete's "Nickel" acid stain for body of the room.  Up close, the tiles look
like an elegant white (or gray) marble.  The saw cuts were also stained dark brown to help the tiles stand out.  The floor was
sealed with 3 coats of a solvent acrylic sealer and topcoated with Spartan's On 'n On floor finish for added protection.
