Existing Concrete Floor of New Chicago Custard Shop Before Acid-Staining
Concrete Floor Ground and Cleaned Before Acid-Staining

This is the customer area of a 1,500 square foot concrete floor of a new custard shop.  The concrete floor was acid-stained after removing an existing sealer by diamond grinding.  A decorative concrete overlay was not used, so there is some exposed aggregate in the existing concrete, as well as an uneven texture to the surface, due to the grinding.  But despite the removal of some cement during grinding, the acid stain color, Moss, a light pale green from Decosup's Chemtone brand of acid stain, still took very nicely.
